Bulldogs with third preseason win

At the start of the game the balance of power seemed to be well distributed. The longer the game last, the more control the hosts took and got rewarded by the goal of Jamie Arniel in the first period. In the second period EHC Freiburg increased pressure and managed to tie the game quickly. But the Bulldogs still kept the control over the game. In the final period Dustin Sylvester succeeded with a blueline for the 2:1. Brodie Reid gave the way to the win with his goal. At the end the Bulldogs won with 4:2 and celebrated their third win in the fourth preseason game.

Sharks with first defeat at second test

As the full squad of HC TWK Innsbruck wasn’t available (Andrew Clark, John Lammers, Dominique Saringer und Philipp missed the game) it was a good opportunity for Coach Rob Pallin to give the young talented players some chances. Both teams started with high energy but good combinations were rare. The sharks were the slightly better team in the first period, but weren’t able to score. In the second period the game flow even decreased and both teams struggled with penalties. The hosts worked better for the 1:0 and succeeded with a deflected shot. Before the end of the second period Andrey Yogan missed a penalty. In the last period the penalties even increased, what made it difficult for the sharks to come back into the game. SC Riessersee managed ton increase the lead during a powerplay situation.
