KHL Medvescak Zagreb welcomes Leader EV Vienna Capitals on Tuesday. The first three Capital-clashes have ended with home-wins. The Croatians still need five points out of their last three games to finish Sixth after the first part of the regular season.

>KHL Medvescak Zagreb (6.) and Vienna Capitals (1.) will face each other for the second time within four days on Tuesday (19:15) in Croatia. The Austrians have won the last meeting on Friday at home 2:1 and have secured place 1 after the first part of the regular season. Both teams have been defeated once since that day.
>Both teams have had problems to score lately: Vienna Capitals have netted just 13 goals (in average 2.16 goals per game) in the last six rounds. Nevertheless Vienna has won three from their last six games. Lately the Caps have been defeated by HCB Südtirol Alperia at home 2:3. KHL Medvescak Zagreb has lost their last two games. The Bears have netted just one goal from 31 shots on net in Vienna. Besides the Croatians were defeated by HC Orli Znojmo on Sunday at home with 3:4, even they had more shots on net then their opponent (35:31). For the Bears it meaned the first defeat after five consecutive home-wins.
>KHL Medvescak Zagreb will play their last home-game in the first part of the regular season against the Capitals on Tuesday. The Bears have celebrated 14 home-wins so far this season. On Tuesday the Croatians have the chance to reach their personal home-record! The Bears managed already three times - 2012/13, 2010/11 and 2009/10 - totally 15 home-wins in the (first part) of the regular season and always reached the Playoffs.
