Caps take OT win in Innsbruck
Just one day after their tough 0:1 loss against Klagenfurt, HC TWK Innsbruck tried hard once again to get their first season win. The Caps got off a great start, though, with Riley Holzapfel opening the scoring. Innsbruck showed great will and generated good chances, in the 17th minute John Lammers tied it at one. After both teams failed to score in the middle frame, Innsbruck took the first lead of the season in front of their home crowd when Jesper Thörnberg (47') found the back of the net. Soon later Tyler Spurgeon missed another big chance. With 106 seconds to go, the Caps scored the equalizer and in the extra session Ty Loney became the hero.

Red Bulls celebrate comeback win against Znojmo
Despite trailing 0:3 after the first, the Red Bulls won their second home game within 24 hours. Philip McRea, Anthony Luciani and Patrik Novak gave Znojmo a comfortable lead in the first and they also did a great job defensively in the second. Just 22 seconds before the intermission Thomas Raffl got the hosts on the scoreboard. After restart Raphael Herburger made it a one-goal game and late in the game it was once again Raffl, who sent it to overtime. With no goals in the extra session, shootout had to decide about the winner. Alexander Rauchenwald kept nerves and Salzburg even extended their lead at the top of the standings.
