Thanks to a 4:3 shootout win in Salzburg, spusu Vienna Capitals stayed on top. After the Caps turned around a 1:0 deficit in the middle frame, the hosts did the same in the third. With one man down and only 48 seconds to go, Chris DeSousa scored the equalizer to force overtime. After a goalless extra session Holzapfel and Vause kept their nerves for a 4:3 road win. It was Salzburg's first loss after being undefeated for the last nine games (including Champions Hockey League).

After suffering three defeats, HC TWK Innsbruck earned their first win in December. After a goalless first Sacha Guimond broke the spell in the 36th minute on power play. The young Croats came back after this goal against, though, and tied it early in the third thanks to a Jarcov goal. The hosts retook the lead with a Spurgeon goal and then Clark doubled it. With a two man advantage Svensson pulled one back but it was not enough to grab a point from Innsbruck.

Dornbirn Bulldogs got their 4th successive home win, beating Linz 4:2. Halfway through the first Pöschmann made the breakthrough but the Black Wings tied it by Obers. With Dupont (22./pp1) and McNeill(28.) scoring, the hosts got a two-goal advantage in the middle frame. Despite DaSilva pulling one back in the final push, the Bulldogs kept three points at home as O’Donnell rounded off the scoring with an empty netter.

In their 14th road game Villach earned their first season win. The visitors got off a good start with Benjamin Lanzinger finding the back of the net - 0:1. The visitors continued their strong performance also after the break. Brandon Alderson scored with a powerplay one-timer at 25:51 and 86 seconds later, Jerry Pollastrone converted a breakaway to make it 3-0 for VSV. Bernd Wolf´s screened shot made it 0:4 but Znojmo got themselves on the scoreboard midway through the period when Marek Spacek found the net with a deflected shot under the crossbar. Anthony Luciani scored the third period's only goal for a 4:2 road win. The bottom-placed club also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Fehervar also won the third season meeting with Klagenfurt. The Hungarians opened the scoring after only four minutes with a goal from Sarauer. Later in the period Anze Kuralt doubled the lead and it was once again the Slovenian forward who scored the only goal in the middle frame. Klagenfurt came back, though, with scoring three unanswered thrid-period goals. Fehervar was not shocked with Erdely and Szabo bringing them on winning ways again. Klagenfurt's fourth goal came to late.
