HCB Südtirol Alperia – Vienna Capitals 1:2 (1:1, 0:0, 0:1)
The Vienna Capitals are still undefeated. After seven games the Capitals took a confident lead in standings. Vienna started with high pressure, but Irving managed to keep the sheets clean in the beginning. In the second powerplay of the Caps Benjamin Nissner scored the first goal of the night. Bolzano fought back and Crescenzi tied the game In the second period no team managed to score, despite of a couple of chances. In the final period it was Riley Holzapfel who decided the game for the Caps after a big mistake of Bolzano.
Moser Medical Graz99ers – Dornbirn Bulldogs 5:3 (0:2, 3:1, 2:0)
The Moser Medical Graz 99ers celebrated a comeback win against the Dornbirn Bulldogs. The 99ers trailed already by 0:3. After that the home team speeded up and succeeded with the turnaround. Three goals in the second period (two powerplay goals) tied the game. In the final perioded the 99ers continued where they ended the second. Garbowsky captured the lead and Yellow Horn created the result of 5:3 with his second goal of the night.
Fehervar AV19 – EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz 5:6 OT (3:1, 1:2, 1:2, 0:1)
Also the Black Wings managed to turn the game against Fehervar AV19. The home team started the game better, already in the third minute they got the lead after a goal of Sille. Linz answered fast, Locke shot exactly in the upper left corner from the side. Playing full strength, the Hungarians scored again, Luttinen scored in the empty net after breakaway. Although Linz attacked more in the upcoming minutes, Erdély and co. managed to score again, Hari’s shot changed direction on an away player in front of the net and the difference was two goals. The guests started the second period better, Woger put a rebound in the net, then Lebler’s shot went in the net and the game was tied again. Five on five, Fehervar was more effective, after a faceoff Caruso scored a blueliner. In the third period Linz first hit the crossbar, then Brocklehurst shot in the net from the blue line and tied the game again. Phillips recaptured the lead in powerplay. But Brocklehurst scored again the equalizer for the overtime. In the overtime, the guests started to dominate and finally Dan DaSilva scored after a pass in front of the net.
EC Panaceo VSV – EC Red Bull Salzburg 0:4
The EC Red Bull Salzburg keeps climbing the standings. After four consecutive losts, the EC Salzburg celebrated the second shut-win in a row. The EC Panaceo hat to take the second consecutive defeat. The game started with no goals in the first period. The VSV seemed to have a slightly advantage. In the second period Salzburg captured the lead after a goal of Dominique Heinrich. Matt Pelech got a game misconduct. The Red Bulls capitalized on the powerplay, when John Hughes doubled the lead. After that Salzburg had full control over the game. A beautiful combination between Heinrich, Hughes an Raffl brought the 3:0. In the final period both teams reduced intensity. Alexander Rauchenwald created the result of 4:0 in powerplay.
