Standings in the "best-of-seven" series: 2:1

Hydro Fehérvár AV19 followed up their home win two days later by taking the advantage in the "best-of-seven" semifinal series in Villach. The team from Székesfehérvár just needs two more wins for the first final appearance in the team history. The club, which has participated in the multinational ICE Hockey League since 2007, celebrated its first shutout in the current playoffs on Monday. EC Grand Immo VSV's offense, which has been so dangerous so far this season, stuttered badly in the third semifinal game. In the six previous games, the Eagles never scored less than three goals. However, the Devils have the highest goal average per game in the current playoffs. On average, they are celebrating 5.1 goals per game - in their home arena it is even 6.3 goals. The vociferous Hungarian crowd has been rewarded with at least five goals in every playoff home game of the current campaign so far. The game will be streamed live.

Standings in the "best-of-seven" series: 0:3

The spusu Vienna Capitals will play against the season-ender in front of their home crowd on Wednesday. With a decimated team, the Vienna Capitals managed to advance to the semifinals, where they have lost out to EC Red Bull Salzburg in three games so far. In the second match, the spirited Viennese came within a whisker of victory. In the two other encounters, the Red Bulls presented themselves as the title favourites. In the history of the win2day ICE Hockey League, there have been 28 times in previous seasons when a team has taken a 3-0 lead in the playoffs, and 17 times when a sweep occurred. Eleven times the still winless team was able to score in the fourth game. Only once did a team manage to turn the series around after trailing 3-0. The Viennese were also involved in the 2010 semifinals, when they were forced to end their season prematurely by the Black Wings Linz after having one foot in the final. Including this season, the Red Bulls can achieve the 20th sweep in ICE history.
