The EC-KAC is the favorite in the Carinthian derby against the EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV. Not only because the team from Klagenfurt started the season with two wins from four games, which is much better than VSV, who still has no points after three games, but also because of the most recent head-to-head duels. The EC-KAC has won seven of their last ten encounters with VSV. The Klagenfurt team have even won eight of the last ten derbies in front of their home crowd. On Friday, Klagenfurt played at Fehérvár and were clearly defeated 0:4, Villach played in Graz and were beaten 4:6. The derby on Sunday can be seen in the livestream on www.live.ice.hockey.

ORF Sport+ broadcasts Graz vs Linz live
ORF Sport+ will broadcast the game between the still unbeaten Moser Medical Graz99ers and the still winless Steinbach Black Wings Linz. The Styrians are currently second in the table with nine points. The Black Wings are one of three teams still without points and are at the bottom of the table. On Friday, they narrowly lost 1:2 at home against the spusu Vienna Capitals, with Henrik Neubauer scoring the Black Wings' first goal of the season. The Upper Austrians already have personnel worries in the offense early in the season, Emilio Romig and Brodi Stuart are out for a long time, and therefore strengthened the squad with Ken Ograjensek and Luka Maver. The Slovenian duo received a limited contract with the Steinbach Black Wings until the international break in November. The Black Wings then have an option to extend the collaboration. Graz's offense, on the other hand, is already in full swing. In the 6:4 home win against Villach on Friday, Michael Schiechl was the player of the game with two goals and one assist. The 35-year-old was also named the “win2day Gameday Hero” of round 3.

Bolzano visits Vienna | Salzburg welcomes Fehérvár
After three home games, league leader HCB Südtirol Alperia face their first away game on Sunday. The South Tyroleans visit the spusu Vienna Capitals, who are in sixth place in the table with six points. Bolzano, like Graz, is on maximum points, but has a better goal difference than the Styrians and is therefore top of the table. HCB have won all of their last six head-to-head meetings with Vienna.

Defending champion EC Red Bull Salzburg are also in action in the 4th round, hosting Hydro Fehérvár AV19. While Salzburg was free from play on Friday, Fehérvár played their first game in the Alba Aréna and celebrated a clear 4:0 victory against EC-KAC. The Hungarians scored three goals within 75 seconds. It was Fehérvár's second win of the season in their third game. The Red Bulls have only been in action twice and celebrated one victory.

In addition, HC TIWAG Innsbruck and Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey will face each other on Sunday and Olimpija Ljubljana will host HC Pustertal. While Pustertal celebrated its first win of the season on Friday, the Slovenians are still without a defeat after three matchdays and are in third place in the table. The match between Innsbruck and Asiago is a game betwwen the tenth placed HCI with three points, and the eleventh placed Italians, who are still without points.
