Kristjan Cepon will join HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana for the upcoming season in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. The defender returns to the Slovenian ICE participant after one season in France.

In the French Ligue Magnus, Cepon played for Nice. There he showed up 24 times and scored eleven points (3G|8A). Before that, he played almost exclusively in Ljubljana - only at the beginning of the 19/20 season he was on duty for ten games with HC Kalmar in Sweden. With the "dragons" he won the title in the Alps Hockey League in 2019. He contributed 14 points in the playoffs, making him the best-scoring defenseman of the postseason. The 25-year-old scored one goal in his 134 ICE games to date. On December 3rd, 2016, he scored against HC TIWAG Innsbruck "Die Haie".
