- After a 3:4 away overtime defeat in Linz, the 99ers bounced back with a 4:3 OT win on Sunday, retaking the series lead
- Graz leads playoffs PP stats with using 8 of 19 occasions (42,1%)
- In their last ten meetings the home side won 9 times with Graz getting the only road win on 23rd December 2018 (4:5 SO)
- Last time the 99ers had a 2:1 series lead was 2010 against Zagreb but then they lost three in a row
- Daniel Oberkofler gained at least one point in every game of the series, leading the scoring charts with seven points (2G, 5A)

- Ryan Duncan, who already got 4 Erste Bank Eishockey Liga titles and became playoff topscorer twice, has had four goals and one assist in the series
