On Tuesday the fourth game day of quarterfinals is on the agenda. Champion Bolzano needs a home win against Klagenfurt to stay alive. In the three remaining series it's equalizer or match pucks.

  • The Caps regained the series lead with a 5:2 home win
  • In quarterfinals 2013 the Caps won the 4th game 7:0 on the road - they started this series with the same result
  • Chris DeSousa earned seven points (3G, 4A) in the first three quarterfinal games
  • While Vienna has the second-best PP in playoffs  (38,9%), Znojmo is at the bottom of this statistic (13,3%) 
  • The Caps have the best Playoff PK availble, getting only two goals against in 15 shorthanded situations (86,7%)
 
Mikko Vainonen (HC Orli Znojmo): „We had too many penalties on Sunday, we have to stay out of the box. We are in good shape, playoffs is why we practice all year. If we physical dominate them, we can beat them."
 
Mat Clark (spusu Vienna Capitals): „It's always tough to play in Znojmo. We have to come out hard as we did last Friday. We have to be ready and stick to our game plan.“

  • With a 4:1 home win Klagenfurt got a 3:0 series lead and they need just one more win to go to semis and take revenge for last season's quarterfinal defeat
  • Seven times KAC had a 3:0 series lead and they always went through to the next round
  • In 2015 Bolzano was eliminated as defending champions in quarterfinals (3:4 against Linz)
  • In Erste Bank Eishockey Liga history only Linz came back once from a 0:3 deficit (2010 agaisnt Vienna)
  • Bolzano always won game 4 of quarterfinals in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (5 times) but also Klagenfurt took the win in game 4 for their last six quarterfinal series

  • After a 3:4 away overtime defeat in Linz, the 99ers bounced back with a 4:3 OT win on Sunday, retaking the series lead
  • Graz leads playoffs PP stats with using 8 of 19 occasions (42,1%) 
  • In their last ten meetings the home side won 9 times with Graz getting the only road win on 23rd December 2018 (4:5 SO)
  • Last time the 99ers had a 2:1 series lead was 2010 against Zagreb but then they lost three in a row
  • Daniel Oberkofler gained at least one point in every game of the series, leading the scoring charts with seven points (2G, 5A)

  • With a 6:4 road win Salzburg turned the series to their favour on Sunday
  • The 4th-placed team of Pick Round was always eliminated in quarterfinals since the league started the pick procedure
  • Since 2017 Salzburg won five of six home games
  • In the previous three games of the series the team that won the first also got the win in the end
  • Ryan Duncan, who already got 4 Erste Bank Eishockey Liga titles and became playoff topscorer twice, has had four goals and one assist in the series
 
Thomas Raffl (EC Red Bull Salzburg): „We had too many penalties in the offensive zone in the last game. However, we also have to take the positive things into the next game. We're ready.“ 

Hannu Järvenpää (Headcoach Fehervar AV19): „We have to avoid mistakes. It's a series against a quality hockey team but we have shown that we can beat them. I believe top 100 per cent in our team.“
