With the eight consecutive victory the HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana took over the lead in standings, as the reigning champion beat EK Die Zeller Eisbären 3:1 at home. For the first time this season the “dragons” are ranked first, while the Salzburg side remain ninth. It was Ljubljana’s seventh consecutive win against the polar bears. Anej Kujavec’s backhand shot got the home team on the scoreboard in the ninth minute, but the champion had to take the equalizer early in the second, as Philip Putnik scored for Zell am See, which missed a lot of key-players tonight. About 31 seconds later Ziga Jerovsek retake the lead for the dominating host (42:18 shots on goal) and Luka Ulamec decided the game early in the last.

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors destroyed HC Gherdeina valgardena.it’s winning streak, as the Austrian side snatched up a tight 5:4 home-win. With the fifth season-win the “Juniors” climbed to 14th spot in standings, while the “Fury” dropped to sixth place. After Gherdeina’s dominating powerplay squad balanced the game four times with only three players being involved, Salzburg's Pontus Englund, who had a four-point-night, hit the game winner 79 seconds left.

League’s newcomer Vienna Capitals Silver remain pointless on the road, suffering a harsh 1:7 defeat at Klobenstein. The Rittner Buam climbed to fifth place after the clear-cut win against the Austrian side. The game was decided on an early stage, when the “Buam” scored four unanswered in the first frame. While Vienna pulled one back in the 25th minute, the hosts scored three more goals and secured their highest season win. For the first time this season new arrival Matthew Lane scored a hat trick.

After all previous AHL meetings between S.G. Cortina Hafro and Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan were decided by only one goal, the latest saw a 6:1 clear-cut win of Cortina. It was their first win after two losses, and they stepped up to fourth place in standings. The game had to start 20 minutes later due to a delayed road team and ended goalless after the first. With three unanswered, two of them on powerplay, the hosts got on winning ways in the first eight minutes of the second. After the Broncos pulled one back, Riccardo Lacedelli scored two more on powerplay and secured the game early. Lacedelli had a hat trick in the end, while Nick Bruneteau and Nicholas Trecapelli gained three points too.
