Leaders EC Red Bull Salzburg travel to HCB Südtirol Alperia on Friday, the runners-up currently have the longest winning streak in the win2day ICE Hockey League with five victories. For Salzburg, it is their first return to Bolzano, where they celebrated the eighth championship title in the club's history in April. The BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg, on the other hand, are on a road trip, facing Vienna and Szekesfehervar in the next two days. All games will be offered in the PPV live stream on www.live.ice.hockey.

The spusu Vienna Capitals started the month of November with a 3:2 victory at HK SZ Olimpija. The win in the Slovenian capital was the first full success since 26 September, when the Caps beat tomorrow's opponents. While the Caps are only 12th in the table with 14 points, the Pioneers are ninth with 20 points. Last week, the team from Vorarlberg celebrated two home victories against Villach and Klagenfurt, but head coach Dylan Stanley's team shows a veritable weakness away from home. The Pioneers have only won two of their eight road games. The Viennese also won all previous five league games against the team from Feldkirch.

VSV celebrated a 4:3 overtime win in Asiago on Wednesday and remain in third place. The Carinthians won all of their past four home games. Graz gained confidence with an overtime victory against Pustertal. The bottom team is still waiting for its first win away from home and has only picked up one point on the road. In the first duel of the season, Villach left Graz-Liebenau with a 5:2 victory. Both teams will miss some palyers: While Blaz Tomazevic returns to the line-up after his illness, VSV are still without convalescents Anthony Luciani, Marco Richter and Rene Swette. The 99ers, on the other hand, will have to do without Dodero, Viksten and Kittinger.

The Steinbach Black Wings Linz recently celebrated a 3:0 home victory over Innsbruck, in which the defence was once again convincing. The Upper Austrians have kept a clean sheet for more than 120 minutes at the Linz AG Eisarena. Ljubljana gave away a 2:0 lead against Vienna on Wednesday and finally had to admit a 2:3 defeat. The Slovenians have won only two of their last ten games. The two teams are meeting for the third time this season, with head coach Philipp Lukas' side winning both duels at the Tivoli. In addition, Olimpija have never walked off the ice as winners in Linz since entering the league.

After a weak start to the season, Asiago improved their results significantly from mid-October onwards, taking points in four of their last five games. Yesterday, the team led by two-time Stanley Cup winner Tom Barrasso suffered an overtime defeat against Villach. The KAC suffered two defeats in a row for the first time this season, losing 2:1 to Bolzano on Wednesday. Kirk Furey and David Fischer's team, which is in fifth place in the table, increased the gap to the top to ten points. In the first duel of the season, the Klagenfurters celebrated a narrow 4:3 home victory.

The 2:1 in Klagenfurt was the fifth win in a row for HCB Südtirol Alperia, the Bolzano team moved up to eighth place. In the last three games, Glen Hanlon's side only conceded one goal. Opponents Salzburg even have the best defence in the league, and the Red Bulls extended their lead in the standings with two victories recently. For Salzburg, it is now the first return to Bolzano, where they celebrated their last championship title only in April this year after a win in game 7. Salzburg won the first meeting of the season at home with 6:3. They currently have a few sick players, some of whom are being replaced by young cracks from the Red Bull Hockey Juniors.

In Bruneck two teams meet who want to stop their current losing streak. HC Pustertal had to admit defeat for the fourth time in a row in Graz on Wednesday, but at least took a point with them. For Innsbruck, the 1:3 against Salzburg was the second defeat in a row. In the table, the South Tyroleans are in sixth place, four points ahead of the sharks (who have played two games less). In the first duel of the season, the wolves won 6:5 away from home after shootout. The teams have already hadd four league meetings in Bruneck, with each side celebrating two victories.

Just one day after the away game in Vienna, it's on to Fehervar for the Pioneers. The second-placed Hungarians thus had a five-day break after their 5:2 win in Bruneck. Fehervar have won four of their five encounters with the Vorarlbergers so far, including their first meeting of the season.
