Clear victories for Asiago and Cortina
Master Round leader Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey won against the SHC Fassa Falcons with 9:1 in the first game after their Serie A triumph. Last year's finalist already led with 4:0 after twelve and a half minutes and it was the fifth win in the fifth game for the Master Round leader. For the Falcons it was the fifth defeat in a row. The playoff spot is almost out of reach for Fassa.

In the second game of the Master Round, S.G. Cortina Hafro, fifth in the standings, celebrated a surprisingly clear 5:2 victory over HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, second in the standings. After a goalless first period, five goals were scored in the second period. While the guests from Cortina scored three times, Jesenice scored twice. In the final period, the guests made everything clear with a brace. Canadian Joe Basaraba was the only player to score twice. With six points Cortina is still in fifth place. However, the top four and thus fixed playoff participation is still within reach.

Feldkirch and Steel Wings turn game around
In Qualification Round B, the Steel Wings Linz took another big step towards the pre-playoffs. In addition, the BEMER VEU Feldkirch moved up into the pre-playoff spots. On Thursday both teams were already trailing. VEU was already trailing with 1:4 at home against Val Gardena. But with four goals in the last 24 minutes, the Vorarlberg team was able to turn the game around. The game-winner was scored by Steven Birnstill one minute before the end of the game. Val Gardena, which was defeated for the first time in the Qualification Round, is still clearly at the top of the table.

In second place are the Steel Wings Linz, who turned a 0:2 deficit into a win against the EK Die Zeller Eisbären. The guests from Pinzgau thus slipped back to fourth place and are currently outside the pre-playoff places. At the beginning of the middle period, the Polar Bears were still 2:0 in front. The Steel Wings, who won against Zell am See for the second time in a row, then got better and better into the game. In the middle third they managed to equalize. Marcel Mayrhofer provided the game-winner in the 47th minute of play.

KAC Future Team keeps Pre-Playoffs in reach
In the only game of Qualification Round A, the EC-KAC Future Team won with 3:2 against the Red Bull Hockey Juniors and thus keeps its chance for the pre-playoffs. The gap to the third-placed team from Vipiteno is now only three points. The Young Bulls, who as first in the table still have a comfortable four-point lead over second-placed Bregenzerwald, took the lead in the 28th minute after a goalless opening period. Still in the second period, the guests from Klagenfurt were able to turn the game around and even pull away to 3:1 in the final period. For the Future Team it was only the sixth win in the 21st AHL duel with the Young Bulls.
