The spusu Vienna Capitals won the rescheduled game against EC Red Bull Salzburg, which was canceled on October 1st due to a hole in the ice, 4-0. Goalie Sebastian Wraneschitz stopped all 18 shots on goal to give Vienna its first shutout of the 23-24 win2day ICE Hockey League season, while Salzburg suffered its third loss in the last four games.

Only those players who were listed on the score sheet were available for the rescheduled game between spusu Vienna Capitals and EC Red Bull Salzburg. As a result, Vienna had eight players available, while Salzburg were forced to withdraw two. Nevertheless, the visitors took command from the fifth minute onwards, but failed to score. On the contrary: 38 seconds before the first break, Trevor Cheek (20.) gave Vienna the lead against the run of play. This gave the "Caps" confidence and they stood up to Salzburg in the second period. Also because goalie Sebastian Wraneschitz made some good saves. In the final period, Trevor Cheek (45.) collected a brace. Vienna dominated from then on and increased their lead through Hampus Eriksson (56.), who had to take a heavy check before, and Dominique Heinrich (57./PP1) to secure a clear 4-0 home win.
