Red Bulls celebrated third season-win against Klagenfurt
Both teams missed some players, because of injuries or sickness. EC Red Bull Salzburg could compensate their missing players better and started with much pressure into the game. Already in minute five the Mozart Citizens were rewarded for their offense: Alexander Pallestrang took a shot from the blue line in a Power Play and  the puck found its way, deflected by Klagenfurts Christoph Duller and via post, into the net. Then the Red Bulls were the chief on the ice, Mueller (solo) or Raymond had good chances to extend the lead. Out of nowhere EC-KAC equalized: Kevin Kapstad was hit from the puck after a shot from Salzburg‘s Alexander Pallestrang infront of the net and the puck rolled into the net. Late in the period Klagenfurt came close to score again, but Johannes Bischofberger just hit the post. Period 2 started in minute 33: In a Power Play Brant Harris scored the lead for the Red Bulls again from his own rebound. Klagenfurt could have answered quickly, but Johannes Bischofberger could not beat goalie Bernhard Starkbaum after a 2-on-0-break. On the other side Ryan Duncan missed an open net. In period 3 Salzburg made more pressure again. First Thomas Raffl hit the post, but just moments later Rob Schremp scored the 3:1. Now Salzburg controlled the game. Five minutes before the end David Fischer made the 2:3 from the blue line. The Mozart Citizens stayed unimpressed and could have won even higher: Both - Peter Mueller and Marty Raymond - just hit the post in the final minutes.

Black Wings won at Bozen and returned on place 2
HCB Südtirol Alperia made the game, but EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz scored the first goal: Fabio Hofer outplayed the HCB-defense and scored – 1:0. The Italians stayed unimpressed and produced several chances. The 1:1 was just a question of time and was finally scored by Angelidis. The Foxes continued to make pressure and turned the game in a Power Play. The Italians took the momentum into period 2: Miceli, Halmo or Monardo had good chances to extend the lead, but again it were the Austrians who scored: After a shot from Fabio Hofer after a counter, Dan DaSilva was successful from the rebound – 2:2. Bozen failed to answer in a PP and also Miceli and Petan (twice) missed good chances late in the second period. The Upper Austrians started period three 5-on-3, but Pekka Tuokkola was not to beat. But the guests stayed dangerous, Brian Lebler scored the lead for the guests from a counter. Bozen stayed unimpressed, answered quickly: Sointu poked the puck in – 4:4. Now the Foxes pressured for the lead, but the best chances were missed from Monardo (big shot), Gander (big shot) or Oleksuk, who could not finish a combination with Frigo. This was puished by the Steel Citizens: Broda found DaSilva alone infront of the net and the Canadian scored the Game Winner.

Znojmo ends bad road-run at Villach
HC Orli Znojmo started better into the eagles-clash at Villach. Already in minute 5 Raska finished a 2-on-1-situation after a great pass from Miller. EC VSV could not anwer in a Power Play. The Red Eagles were more successful, they extended their lead in a Power Play. Also in period 2 the Czechs started better, Colton Yellow Horn quickly added the 3:0. This time Villach had a quick answer: Jordan Hickmott finished a pass from Kyle Beach with a slapshot. The guests stayed unimpressed and were the better team on the ice. Matus came close to score the 4:1, but he just hit the post. Villach still could not produce much offense. The Austrians tried to come back in period 3: First Nico Brunner was stopped by goalie Scharz after a break-away, but then Sam Labrecque was successful – 2:3. The Carinthians now pressured for the 3:3. But the Austrians could not score anymore. Seven minutes before the end the guests even scored another goal, by it was not allowed by the referees. HC Orli Znojmo won 3:2 and ended their bad run on the road. The Czchs got their first road-win after eight games or since October 12 at Villach.

99ers with comeback-win against Innsbruck
Already after some seconds the puck was in the net at Graz for the first time. But the goal wasn‘t allowed by the refs, because it was scored by Morten Poulsen with a high stick. The guests from Innsbruck repeated their first goal just 78 seconds later, Jeremy Ouellet-Blain was successful from the blue line. The 99ers stayed unimpressed and had more from the game, but Innsbruck was more effectiv and added goals from Andrew Clark and Ondrej Sedivy. The Styrians did not give up and made pressure in period 2. Innsbruck now took (five) penalties. This was punished by the Mur Citizens: Brock Nixon scored from a short distance – 1:3. It was the beginning of a big comeback. At halftime both teams had their chances, but both goalies Toivonen and Nechvatal were ready. Period 3 started perfect for the 99ers: Already after a few seconds Oliver Setzinger finished a pass from Evan Brophey in a Powerplay for the 2:3 under the crossbar. In minute 48 Brock Nixon intercepted a pass from Innsbruck, passed to Aleksi Laakso, who beat Nechvatal from a short distance. Nixon failed to turn the game then from a 2-on-1-situation, but Robin Weihager did this late in the period. The guests were shocked for a moment, but then John Lammers made a „five hole“ and the game went into Overtime, where 99er Clemens Unterweger finished a 3-on-1-situation.

Dornbirn Bulldogs surprised at Leader Vienna
Both teams could score early in the game. The Vienna Capitals took the lead in minute 5. Julian Grosslercher scored from the slot. The Dornbirn Bulldogs had a quick answer: In minute 7 MacGregor Sharp lost the puck to Martin Grabher-Meier. The Austrian passed to Olivier Magnan, whose big shot found its way into the net. The Caps missed a 5-on-3-Power Play then. On the other side Scott Timmins scored the 2:1 for the Vorarlberger in a Power Play in minute 14. After the re-start Dornbirn was the chief on the ice. At halftime Vienna got a Power Play and made pressure, but also DEC-goalie Rasmus Rinne was not to beat in period 2.The Caps started the last period more aggressive: Mario Fischer quickly made the 2:2. The Champion was now the chief on the ice, but the guests fighted and managed to get into the Overtime, where Matthew Fraser finished a counter for the road-win.
