While the Dornbirn Bulldogs confirmed their performance of their first clash with the Steinbach Black Wings in 1992 with a sovereign start-to-finish victory, spusu Vienna Capitals took revenge in the shootout against Hydro Fehérvár AV19. HCB Südtirol Alperia also prevailed in the back-to-back duel with iClinic Bratislava Capitals, but had to make up for a 2-goal deficit twice.

Bulldogs celebrate sovereign success over the Black Wings 1992
The Dornbirn Bulldogs also won the second meeting within one week with the Steinbach Black Wings Linz in a sovereign manner. With a home victory the Bulldogs started their home game series. In the current season this was the first success in the Ländle. Four more consecutive games are on the program in the Dornbirn Messestadion. In the last nine games, the Linz team has only managed to score two points. The Bulldogs finally won 5:3. Five different cracks scored against the hosts. League top scorer Dragan Umicevic further extended his lead in the scoring list.

Caps take revenge in a penalty shootout
For the second time Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and the spusu Vienna Capitals met this season - for the second time the match was decided only in the penalty shootout. While on October 4 the Hungarians were able to conquer two points, the Viennese took revenge a month and a half later. With their fifth win in a row, the Capitals are still close behind the leader from Graz. But Fehérvár also stays close to the top trio. The Viennese were already leading 2-0 and 3-1 in the match before the hosts fought back. Marco Richter finally made the decision in the penalty shootout.

Comeback victory for Bozen
For the second time within two days, iClinic Bratislava Capitals was a guest at HCB South Tyrol Alperia. After the Slovaks had suffered a clear 0:4 defeat the day before, the league newcomer only just missed out on a points win one day later. The guests presented themselves hungry right at the beginning and took a quick 2-0 lead. But the South Tyroleans had the right answer ready and even managed to take the lead for a short time in the middle third. The league newcomer successfully made up ground and established a renewed 2-goal lead. But the foxes acted callously in the finish and finally won 6:5. While six different cracks scored at the Foxes, the two youngsters Maxim Čajkovič and Roman Faith, who were recently nominated for the pre-camp of the Slovakian U20 national team in Zvolen, were among those who scored at the Capitals.
