EC Red Bull Salzburg turned around a 3-0 deficit in the third semi-final game against HCB Südtirol Alperia to take the lead for the first time in this best-of-seven semi-final series. EC Red Bull Salzburg takes the lead for the first time in the best-of-seven semifinal series against HCB Südtirol Alperia. However, it took a lot of hard work and a comeback worth seeing. The first period belonged entirely to the visitors from Bolzano, who took a 3:0 lead within the first 14 minutes. However, the Red Bulls came out of the locker room transformed after the first break and fought their way back into the game. Benjamin Nissner started the comeback in the 27th minute.
