League leaders Sabres St. Pölten claimed the only European Women’s Hockey League game of the day with a 3-0 away victory over HK PSRZ Bratislava, extending their lead over closest rivals Aisulu to four points. Bratislava remain in seventh place.

After a scoreless opening period, Hanna Schwarzer put the Sabres ahead on the power play in the 25th minute. Eight minutes later, Hanna Obermayr doubled the lead, again on the powerplay. Schwarzer struck once more in the 43rd minute to seal the final score. Sabres goaltender Selma Luggin stopped all 36 shots to record a shutout.
