HCB Südtirol Alperia is Connor Ford's first stop in Europe: After a full season for the Henderson Silver Knights in the American Hockey League, the American joined the Foxes in the summer of 2023. The center scored in the very first game of the season against Innsbruck, followed by 20 games without a goal. Ford only scored again on November 26th and things have been looking up for him since then, as he has recorded 19 points from the last 18 games.

Six-point weekend in the books
Last weekend, Ford's already steadily rising performance curve went even higher, as the 25-year-old scored six points in the last two games, playing a major role in the home victories over Hydro Fehérvár AV19 (4-2) and EC Red Bull Salzburg (4-1). Against the champions, Ford was involved in all four goals, scoring the first himself and recording the primary assist in each of the other three.
