EK Zeller Eisbären signed young defenseman Corin Konradsheim, who played last season already for EC Bregenzerwald in the Alps Hockey League. EC-KAC II announced their basic cadre for the 2017/18-season. Plus: Contract extensions at EC Bregenzerwald, HC Fassa Falcons and HC Pustertal „Wolves“.
Konradsheim new defenseman at Pinzgau
Corin Konradsheim is new player at EK Zeller Eisbären. Between 2013 and 2017 the 23 years old Salzburger defended already 137 times in the Erste Bank Eishockey League for EC Red Bull Salzburg (Champion 2015), Moser Medical Graz99ers and Dornbirn Bulldogs. The Alps Hockey League knows the strong and big defenseman also already from 19 games and three Assists for EC Bregenzerwald past season.
Bernard stays at Fassa
Mattia Bernard continues his career at HC Fassa Falcons. For the Italian it will be already his ninth season at Fassa. 2016/17 the 27 years old Forward scored for the Falcons one Assist from 30 games.
Klagenfurt trusts in Austrians
EC-KAC II announced the basic cadre of their team for the next AlpsHockey-compaign. The major part of the key-players stay at Klagenfurt, inter alia goalie Thomas Dechel, the defensemen Michael Kernberger, Ramón Schnetzer and the Forwards Nikolaus Kraus, Kevin Schettina, Philipp Kreuzer and Marco Richter, who all played last season also for the first team in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Besides the goalies Jakob Holzer and Florian Vorauer, the defenders Martin Goritschnig, Philipp Wilhelmer, Wolfgang Puff, the forwards Philipp Cirtek, Daniel Obersteiner, Luca Rodiga, Valentin and Simon Hammerle and the youngsters Marek David, Thimo Nickl and Fabian Hochegger will go into another season with the „Red Jackets“. On a Try-Out are the youngsters Felix Zandonella, Moritz Greier, Jakob Nusser, Michael Rainer, Benjamin Rassl, Philipp Schaden, Tommaso Topatigh (Italian from Asiago) and forward Matthias Kern, who spend the last two seasons overseas.
Contract extension at Bregenzerwald
Dominic Haberl, son of Austrian ice-hockey-legend Siegfried Haberl, will play also 2017/18 for EC Bregenzerwald in the Alps Hockey League and for the Dornbirn Bulldogs in the Erste Bank Eishockey League. Last season the 21 years old Forward scored for the "Wälder" eleven points (5G/6A) from 20 AlpsHockey-games and for the Bulldogs another three points from 52 games in Austrias highest League.
Elliscasis, Erlacher, Obermair and Oberrauch still Wolves
Danny Elliscasis, Thomas Erlacher, Benno Obermair and Max Oberrauch will play also 2017/18 for HC Pustertal „Wolves“. While Erlacher, Obermair, Oberrauch are responsable for scoring goals, big defenseman Elliscasis tries to prevent goals. Erlacher goes into his twelvth season with his home-club, 2016/17 the 28 years old Center scored for the „Wolves“ seven points (4G/3A) from 32 Alps Hockey League games. Oberrauch came 2005/06 to Bruneck. Last season the 33 years old Forward was with 44 points (18G/26A) from 39 AlpsHockey-games the second best scorer in the team. 24 years old Center Benno Obermair made last season two goals and three Assists for HCP from 31 games, he spend so far all seasons with his home-club. Elliscasis will defend also 2017/18 for the Italian club. Last season the big defensemans scored ten Assists from 42 games.
