The Dornbirn Bulldogs hired Devin Brosseau (25) and Yanni Kaldis (24) from the Bakersfield Condors, the Edmonton Oilers' farm team, on a loan basis. Both cracks come fresh from college and were to be brought to the NHL via the Bakersfield Condors (AHL) to the Edmonton Oilers. Since the leagues in North America start in December at the earliest, Keith Gretzky, the responsible manager of the Oilers, looked for alternatives for his protégés and found them in Dornbirns.

In the next few days, forward Brosseau and defender Kaldis will join Kai Suikkanen's team. The loan contracts are unlimited in time.

Alexander Kutzer, manager of the Bulldogs: "To be able to work with these two NHL prospects is a big deal for our small organization".
