S.G. Cortina Hafro has reached the final of the Alps Hockey League for the second time in a row. The runner-up from the previous season won the "best-of-7" semifinal series against Red Bull Hockey Juniors 4-2. The Italians secured the fourth win needed to advance on Saturday evening on the road after extra time, after they had to come back from a one-goal deficit twice against Salzburg. Tim Doherty only scored in the 58th minute to make it 2-2. In overtime, Diego Cuglietta (69.), who had already scored Cortina's opening goal – on power play – struck. The Italians impressed with a flawless penalty kill and with goalie Hayden Hawkey recording a save percentage of 95.8%.

Coatta scores for Ritten in the 101st minute
Max Coatta has given the Rittner Buam SkyAlps a seventh semifinal game: right at the start of the third overtime period, the 29-year-old forward won the puck in the neutral zone and was then perfectly served by Simon Kostner in the high slot to score a one-timer for a 3-2 road win. Ritten, which was already 2-0 ahead after 15 minutes, thus managed to equalize the best-of-7 semifinal series against the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. Game Seven will be played on Tuesday, April 2nd at 8:00 pm in Ritten.
