Cortina record holder Luca Barnabò set for 10th season | Kitzbühel bring back Mario Ebner

There has been plenty of activity on the Alps Hockey League transfer market over the past few days. Among the latest moves, S.G. Cortina Hafro has re-signed Luca Barnabò, who is set to begin his tenth season with the Italian club. The 30-year-old ranks fifth all-time in Alps Hockey League history with 406 league appearances. Meanwhile, Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel have brought back a familiar face, as defenseman Mario Ebner returns to the club after previously playing for the Adler from 2017 to 2024. S.G. Cortina Hafro
Forward Luca Barnabò will enter his tenth season with Cortina. The 30-year-old has recorded 406 league appearances and 149 points for the Italian side. Only four players have played more games in Alps Hockey League history, with Max Wilfan leading the all-time list with 463 appearances.

Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel
The Tyrolean club has brought back experienced defenseman Mario Ebner. The 30-year-old previously played for the Eagles from 2017 to 2024 before moving to Tours in France and then spending one season with Innsbruck in the win2day ICE Hockey League. Ebner has appeared in 297 league games for Kitzbühel. In addition, the club has extended the contract of 22-year-old defenseman Patrick Bruckner, who is set to begin his third season in Kitzbühel.

Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan
Sterzing has strengthened its goaltending by signing American netminder Jarrett Fiske. The 27-year-old joins the Broncos from the Dundee Stars in Scotland after spending the entirety of his career in North America.

HC Meran/o Pircher
Last season's runner-up Meran has signed 21-year-old South Tyrolean forward Lukas Plank. He spent the past five seasons in North America, including the last two in the USPHL Premier with a team based in Minnesota.

Hockey Unterland Cavaliers
Defensemen Matthias Bonazzo and Manuel Santer will remain with Hockey Unterland. The two homegrown players are both set to enter their third full Alps Hockey League season.

HC Migross Asiago
Nineteen-year-old defenseman Rosario Tolomelli has completed an intra-league move. He spent most of his development in Cortina and has already made 49 Alps Hockey League appearances. He will now suit up for Asiago.

EC-KAC Future Team
Stefan Klassek has returned to his hometown of Klagenfurt and will strengthen league returnee EC-KAC Future Team. The 23-year-old spent the past two seasons with Innsbruck in the win2day ICE Hockey League. Prior to that, he played 109 Alps Hockey League games over five seasons for EC-KAC's second team.

Rittner Buam SkyAlps
Ritten has extended the contracts of two young players: 17-year-old Paul Innerhofer and 20-year-old Alex Oberrauch. Innerhofer has been with the club since his early hockey days and has already made 47 Alps Hockey League appearances. Oberrauch has been with the Buam since 2021 and has played 100 league games so far, recording eight points.
