The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan have signed 29-year-old Canadian Philippe Sanche. The forward played the past three seasons in Scotland in the EIHL - first with the Dundee Stars and then with the Glasgow Clan. Scotland was the first European stop for the Canadian.

Meanwhile, the HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice made use of the EC-KAC Future Team, which will no longer play in Alps Hockey League in the coming season. The 21-year-old Slovenian Luc Slivnik, who has been a forward in Klagenfurt for the past two seasons, is returning to his home country, where he will play for Jesenice.

S.G. Cortina Hafro is also taking advantage of the withdrawal of a team from the AHL. Francesco Forte, who played defense for the Fassa Falcons last season and also gained experience in the win2day ICE Hockey League for Asiago, is moving to last season's AHL runner-up.

HC Merano/Meran/o, on the other hand, is relying on a breath of fresh air in offense and has signed the young forward duo Giovanni Mandruzzato (19) and 23-year-old Tobia Pisetta.

Meanwhile, league newcomer KHL Sisak has extended its contract with Nik Malenica. It will be his third season in Sisak, but his first in the Alps Hockey League.
