After the defeat in the derby against Asiago on Saturday, S.G. Cortina Hafro has now put an end to its losing streak on home ice. After four home defeats in a row, Head Coach Ivo Machacka's team won against the Vienna Capitals Silver with 6:2 - and confirmed the clear success over the Austrians from the first game day. A goal by Mikael Johansson (19.) gave the home team - after Lacedelli's lead was balanced by Martin Kosnar (17.) - a tight lead after the first. In the second, Cortina went strong for the preliminary decision, shooting 15, but could not beat goalie Stefan Steen. In the final period, things went quick: Tommaso Alvera (42.) and Carlo Finucci (45./PP1) set the course for victory for the Ampezzani. The home team answered another goal by Bernhard Posch (46.) with two empty-netters and fixed the 6:2 final score.
