S.G. Cortina Hafro regained the series lead against the Red Bull Hockey Juniors with a 2:0 away win in Salzburg on Saturday and now has the chance to reach the Alps Hockey League finals for the first time ever. So far, the Italians have only been to the AHL semifinals once in 2016/17. Back then, they lost to the eventual champion Rittner Buam SkyAlps with 1:3.

In the semifinal series against the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, only the first two games have gone to the home team, after which the away team has always been victorious. This was also the case last Thursday, where the Young Bulls prevailed for the first time in Cortina. RBJ's 4:3/OT away win was also Cortina's first home loss in the ongoing playoffs. Watch game six of the series at the Stadio Olimpico live on Tuesday starting at 20:30.
