- The Caps had the lead of the league in 51 of 53 rounds. Currently they are on the second place trailing by one point.
- The Capitals need two points at least, to keep their chances for the first pick.
- If Caps and Salzburg both have 24 points after the final round, the Caps are back on the top. If Caps have 23 points after the final round and at lead one of the other two top-teams have the same amount of points, the Caps will not take the first place.
- The Caps won four out five duels with Innsbruck this season.
- After the game the pick for the playoffs will be performed.

- Salzburg is in a “distance battle” with the Black Wigs for the second CHL-Ticket.
- Salzburg qualifies for CHL if they not loose more than one point in direct comparison to Linz.
- If Salzburg and Linz have the same amount of points after the final round, the Red Bulls are ahead, except the Caps also have the same amount of points. In this case Linz books the CHL-ticket.
- The KAC is definitely going from the fourth place and home advantage into the playoffs.
- Salzburg won all five duels against the KAC in this season, but in the past two duels they needed the extra time.

- If all top-3 three teams have the same amount of points after the final round, Linz is in favor. If they only have the same amount of points with Salzburg, they will miss the CHL Qualification for the moment.
- Zagreb can fix the fifths place with a success against the Black Wings.
- The Black Wings won four out of five duels.
