For the second time in a row, the “Rotjacken” did not concede a goal in their first postseason win: Last year, the EC-KAC started the playoffs with a 4-0 shutout win over Villach. Sebastian Dahm recorded 27 saves back then – this year, 19 stops were enough on the way to a 1-0 win over the Pioneers and their first playoff victory in 2024. He was particularly impressive in the final phase of a game characterized by tactics and physicality.

It was Sebastian Dahm's fourth shutout of the season; the Dane has already made 26 clean sheets for the Klagenfurt based club. In the current campaign, he has an outstanding goals-against average of 1.61 and that from 31 games played. The goalie also has a save percentage of 93.3%.
