Danish champion signs at Bolzano | Two new Bulldogs

The HCB Südtirol Alperia has announced the signing of Tim Daly, who arrives from Danish champion Rungsted Seier Capital. With 57 points during his first campaign overseas, the 27-year-old Canadian defender was league’s best defenseman in both goals and assists. Daly agreed on a one-year deal at Bolzano. The Dornbirn Bulldogs signed the Finnish striker Juhani Tamminen as well as the Swedish defender Joel Johansson.

On club's press release the Canadian is described as “an excellent skater, who can read the game very well and has a high offensive potential”. The defender will become a main function in Bolzano’s PK too. 

After Daly was part of the St. Cloud State University (NCAA) for four years, he moved to ECHL playing for the Norfolk Admirals and the Utah Grizzlies, where he stayed for the 2016-17 season too. In between he played two games in the American Hockey League for Manitoba Moose. After another season in the ECHL at Norfolk and Jacksonville IceMen, the Canadian moved to Denmark clinching both the championship and the cup title with Rungsted Seier Capital.  

Bulldogs sign striker and defender
The Finnish striker Juhani Tamminen will play in Dornbirn his first season abroad. In the past two season the 30 year old center striked for Ilves (Liiga). The Swedish Joel Johansson collected already experiences in Denmark, Germany, Norway. His last station was Storhamar (NOR), where he scored the most goals by a defenseman in the whole league.
