Back on November 30, 2017, the defender made his Salzburg debut in a home match against Linz and immediately put himself in the picture with a goal. In total, Stajnoch played 92 games for the Red Bulls before leaving Salzburg for the Nürnberg Ice Tigers (DEL) the following season in February 2019. After the short engagement in Germany (11 games), the Slovakian moved back to Slovan Bratislava and returned two and a half years later, in the spring of 2022, to the win2day ICE Hockey League for 17 games with the Black Wings Linz.

Stajnoch will complete the mandatory medical and fitness check today at the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy and will join the team training on Friday, as the team has two days off after yesterday's home win against Innsbruck.

Martin Stajnoch: "It was a quick and easy decision for me. I am very happy to be part of the Red Bull family again. I still know some of the guys from my last time in Salzburg and I played against most of them with Linz. I know there's a good atmosphere in the team and I want to help achieve the goals. Hopefully with a win in the last game of the season."
