Jesenice narrowly beat Cortina 4:3 in the final rematch on Thursday. It was the first win for the Slovenians after three consecutive defeats. The team in fifth place in the table is six points behind leader Ritten. With 82 goals scored and only 43 goals conceded, Ritten has both the best offense and defense. Goalkeeper Colin Furlong has a save percentage of 92.6% and is second in this statistic behind Thomas Lillie (FAS - 92.8%). In the first duel of the season, JES clearly won 4:1 at home. The Broncos lost 3:4/OT in Fassa on Thursday and are now five points behind leader Ritten. It was their first defeat after two wins in a row. Val Gardena celebrated a 6:3 home win against Merano and celebrated their third victory in the last five games. Due to their poor start to the season, however, the Furie is still only in 14th place, although Val Gardena is in a strong seventh place in the away table. GHE have picked up 15 of their 23 points away from home. Vipiteno, on the other hand, is the second-best home team with 24 out of a possible 30 points. Both teams have already faced each other this season at the end of September. The Broncos lost after already leading 3:0. Anthony DeLuca turned the game around almost single-handedly with four-goals in the third period and overtime, with Val Gardena ultimately prevailing 4:3/OT. With a total of 15 goals, the 28-year-old is in sixth place in the goalscoring charts.
