Val Gardena celebrated a 6:3 home win against Merano and celebrated their third victory in the last five games. Due to their poor start to the season, however, the Furie is still only in 14th place, although Val Gardena is in a strong seventh place in the away table. GHE have picked up 15 of their 23 points away from home. Vipiteno, on the other hand, is the second-best home team with 24 out of a possible 30 points. Both teams have already faced each other this season at the end of September. The Broncos lost after already leading 3:0. Anthony DeLuca turned the game around almost single-handedly with four-goals in the third period and overtime, with Val Gardena ultimately prevailing 4:3/OT. With a total of 15 goals, the 28-year-old is in sixth place in the goalscoring charts.
