Austria’s national hockey team clinched a 3-2 victory over Denmark in their second game of the 2024 Deutschland Cup. All goals came courtesy of players from the win2day ICE Hockey League. Meanwhile, Hungary secured second place at the Tamás-Sárközy Memorial Tournament in Budapest.

Despite numerous penalties, Coach Roger Bader’s squad controlled most of the action in Austria’s second game. Team Austria impressed especially in the first period, creating plenty of chances and displaying strong offensive play. Goals were delivered by Ali Wukovits, Lucas Thaler with a shorthanded goal, and Ramon Schnetzer scoring just before the final buzzer.

On Sunday, Austria faces off against host team Germany in their final game, live on ORF SPORT + and ORF ON.

Italy Caps Off Tournament Victory with Final Game Win | Hungary Takes Second Place
Italy had already secured the title at the Tamás-Sárközy Memorial Tournament by Friday evening. On Saturday, the "Squadra Azzurra" wrapped up with a 5-3 win over Poland. Hungary claimed second place with a 6-2 victory over Slovenia in Saturday’s ICE Nations showdown.
