Sun, 27.02.2022, 5.30 pm: EC GRAND Immo VSV – EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: RENCZ, ZRNIC, Hribar, Vaczi. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
In the last round of the regular season, EC GRAND Immo VSV has the opportunity to finally fix its second place in the table. This would secure the "Adler" home advantage in a possible semifinal series and participation in the Champions Hockey League season 22-23, Villach's then second after 2014. Villach has the better position in comparison with the third-ranked Hydro Fehérvár AV19, the Hungarians can overtake VSV only if they earn at two points more on the last game day. Villach's opponents are league leaders EC Red Bull Salzburg, which have won all three of their season meetings with the Carinthians so far, scoring an average of four goals. Villach also conceded four goals in each of its last two games. Salzburg will spare a number of established players in the last game of the first round, and will also be without convalescents Ali Wukovits, Peter Hochkofler, Florian Baltram and Lukas Schreier.

Sun, 27.02.2022, 5.30 pm: Hydro Fehérvár AV19 – Dornbirn Bulldogs
Referees: PIRAGIC, SOOS, Muzsik, Zgonc. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
Hydro Fehérvár AV19 is chasing EC GRAND Immo VSV on the last gameday and still has a chance to reach the second place as currently third-ranked side. To do so, the Hungarians have to hope for some help from Salzburg and get two points more than their rivals Villach. With a home game against the Dornbirn Bulldogs, which have been winless for seven games, the Magyars have the easier task ahead – especially as Fehérvár have won their last five games in a row, including a win against Salzburg. While the Hungarians won both games in Vorarlberg this year with a total of 14 goals scored, they conceded a 1:3 defeat at home. Dornbirn's Nikita Jevpalovs, with a brace in Friday's 6-4 loss to Villach, has scored in every game against Fehérvár so far. For Dornbirn, it is the last game of the season.

Sun, 27.02.2022, 5.30 pm: HC TESLA Orli Znojmo – HC Pustertal Wölfe
Referees: HRONSKY, SIEGEL, Durmis, Konc. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
HC TESLA Orli Znojmo and HC Pustertal Wölfe will play against each other in the duel for the remaining place in the Top-6 and thus the direct qualification for the quarterfinals. One point is enough for the "Wolves", while the Czechs need a win after regulation. If the Czechs get one or two points, they have the pick right for the pre-playoff as seventh and can choose between HCB Südtirol Alperia and Moser Medical Graz99ers. If the "Adler" lose after regulation, they slip behind EC-KAC in the standings to eighth place. The most recent two encounters in mid-February were won by HC Pustertal, which last suffered two defeats in a row. Znojmo is without a defeat and without conceding a goal for the last two games - and is the third-best team on home ice with a point average of 2.08.
