The spusu Vienna Capitals enlarged the contract with defender Marc-André Dorion. The 32-year old Canadian will start his second year with league’s runner-up. He arrived past summer after six seasons in Linz. In his first year at Vienna he collected 32 points and was part of Canadian national team during its preparation for the world championship. “Last year we had a great season. Every year, the Caps have a good team and chance to win the title. I would like to catch up what we missed past season”, Dorion said.

Parker Bowles moves to Znojmo
Orli Znojmo have signed 24-year old Canadian forward Parker Bowles for the upcoming Erste Bank Eishockey Liga season. Bowles had a good season with Lillehammer in Norwegian GET-ligaen last year, picking up 47 points in 55 games. His scoring abilities are reflected in his past years in junior WHL where he played 5 seasons for Tri-City Americans.

"He is a young and hard-working guy with good skating ability. This is what we are after in the players market. We believe he may be another Kalus or Hlava - guys "nobody" has heard of before they joined us a year ago," said sports manager and head coach Miroslav Frycer. Bowles will join the team at the end of July for first on-ice practice.
