On Friday, for the third time in the running bet-at-home ICE Hockey League season the Dornbirn Bulldogs and the EC-KAC meet each other, as the first two games were won by the road teams. The Moser Medical Graz99ers take on the iClinic Bratislava Capitals in their 1000th regular season game, while the Slovakian side heads into its fifth game within eight days. Sky Sport Austria covers Steinbach Black Wings 1992 hosting HCB Südtirol Alperia, as both teams showed a different performance after the break.

  • The duel iClinic Bratislava Capitals against the Moser Medical Graz99ers opens the Friday game day already at 5.30 pm.
  • The two teams met exactly one week ago in Graz. The 99ers finally won 5:4, after the Austrians came back after an early 0:2 deficit. The Slovakian side won the preseason scrimmage.
  • With eight wins out of eleven games, G99 is at the top of the table. BRC is currently ninth-ranked.
  • For BRC it is already the fifth game within the last eight days, G99 is playing its fourth.
  • Graz plays its 1000th regular season game since the new league was founded in summer 2000.
  • In its last game (5:6 defeat @HCB) BRC twice gave away a two-goal lead.
  • At G99, the special teams convinced: On PP, Doug Mason's team is in second place (27.78%), on PK it is in third place with 86.27%.
  • Joel Broda will make his comeback for G99, Daniel Oberkofler, Lukas Kainz, Kevin Moderer and Charlie Dodero are missing.

  • The Steinbach Black Wings 1992 and the HCB Südtirol Alperia meet for the first time this season.
  • Both teams played two games after the Covid-19 forced break and played twice against the same opponent - but with different results: BWI lost two games clearly against DEC, HCB won twice against BRC.
  • Although HCB played four games less, HCB has the double amount of points as BWI (16 and 8, respectively). This puts the "foxes" in fifth place, with Linz in second last.
  • Even after the break Bozen's Powerplay unit is still outstanding (41.67%). The "Foxes" are also ahead in scoring efficiency (13.21%).
  • BWI has lost the last four games at home and won only one of the last nine games.
  • It is the 53rd duel of these two teams, BWI won 29 of them. Of the 27 home games against HCB, Linz won 19.

  • The first duel in Dornbirn was won by Klagenfurt with 3:1. In the second duel - eleven days ago - the Bulldogs won with 4:3 after shootout.
  • For DEC it is already the sixth match within twelve days, the Vorarlbergers scored nine points and moved up to sixth place.
  • The KAC heads into his fourth game after the break, as they grabbed points in the past three games, winning the last two.
  • The KAC has won the last five games in Vorarlberg. The last DEC home victory against Klagenfur is dated January 28, 2018 (3:2 OT).
  • Both Michael Kernberger and Nick Petersen will play their 100th league game in the jersey of the KAC on Friday.
  • Dennis Sticha returns to the line-up at the KAC. David Madlener will be netminder. David Fischer, David Maier, Niklas Würschl, Johannes Bischofberger and Steven Strong are not in the line-up.
