The Dornbirn Bulldogs hired Keaton Ellerby to strengthen their defensiv squad. Ellerby played 218 games in NHL, showing up for three different teams, the Florida Panthers, the Los Angeles Kings and the Winnipeg Jets.

The 31-year-old Canadian played 218 games in the NHL, after he was drafted by the Florida Panthers on 10th position back in 2007. He collected 27 points in his NHL career, scoring four goals and posting 23 assists. In the 2015-16 season he moved to the KHL playing for Barys Astana and finished the season in Swiss first division for HC Fribourg-Gottéron. In the following season he hit the ice for Lukko in Finnland and moved to Mora IK in the Swedish SHL in 2017-18. Past season he was part of the Iserlohn Roosters in German DEL, collecting nine points.
