bet-at-home ICE Hockey League | 25.11.2021 | Schedule:
Fr, 26.11.2021, 7.15 pm: Moser Medical Graz99ers – HC Pustertal Wölfe
Referees: GROZNIK, PIRAGIC, Bärnthaler, Miklic. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
In the game Moser Medical Graz99ers (#10) and HC Pustertal Wölfe (#11) two neighbors in the standings face each other, with both of them currently showing an upward form. The South Tyroleans seem to be in better shape: They have won their last three games – all at home – and are still unbeaten under new head coach Raimo Helminen. In all three games, the "Wolves" came back after a deficit. The last meeting with the Styrians heralded the winning streak of the Pusterer, after trailing 2:3 Greg Carey and Jakob Stukel, who scored three goals in the running streak, turned the game around. This meant that the second game between these two teams was also won by the home side, as Graz prevailing 5:2 in the first meeting. The Styrians proved last weekend also rising form, won first 3:0 against Vienna and held – thanks to aggressive play – also in the unfortunate 0:2 in Salzburg respectable. Even if the fan factor is gone, Graz has won its last three games on home ice. Pustertal is winless on the road for eight consecutive games.
Fr, 26.11.2021, 7.15 pm: Hydro Fehérvár AV19 – EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: NAGY, RENCZ, Konc, Vaczi. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
Friday’s top duel will be between Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and EC Red Bull Salzburg. The second-placed team from Hungary had to admit defeat twice recently, always giving away a lead. Salzburg, on the other hand, which was eliminated from the Champions Hochey League unhappily on Wednesday despite winning, has won its last four league games in a row. Florian Baltram, who will play his 300th league game on Friday (31G|56A), was heavily involved in that winning streak with three goals and an assist. In the first duel with the Hungarians, which Salzburg won 3:0, he also entered the scorers' list. The Red Bulls, who are without JP Lamoureux, Peter Hochkofler, Mario Huber, Aljaž Predan, Jakub Borzecki, Vincent LoVerde and Nicolas Wieser, have won their last three games against the second-placed team. Both teams are currently the most disciplined in the ICE, taking an average of only 6.5 (RBS) and 7 (AVS) penalty minutes per game.
Fr, 26.11.2021, 7.15 pm: Steinbach Black Wings Linz – HK SZ Olimpija
Referees: HLAVATY, SMETANA, Bedynek, Wimmler. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
The premiere of the new Steinbach Black Wings Linz head coach Raimo Summanen will be on home ice on Friday - and against his former club HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana. This will be the fourth and last duel of the season between the two teams. So far, the home team, which can again rely on the recently injured or ill Will Pelletier, Andris Dzerins, Julian Pusnik and Gerd Kragl, has always been able to prevail. But the league leaders, which recently won only one of their four league games, also upgraded their defense once again: Slovenian national team player Aljosa Crnovic came to Ljubljana from Alps Hockey League leaders Jesenice, while veteran Mitja Robar was signed on a one-month deal. HKO continues to be the most offensively productive team with 3,8 goals per game, while Linz is at 2,05 goals per encounter. Although Linz is at the bottom of the table, it has a strong home streak available: in the last nine home games, the "Black Wings" have always scored, winning three.
Fr, 26.11.2021, 7.15 pm: Dornbirn Bulldogs – EC-KAC
Referees: BERNEKER, NIKOLIC M., Pardatscher, Rigoni. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
The Dornbirn Bulldogs are looking to bounce back against the EC-KAC: since October 15th (5:2 @HCB), the Vorarlberg side have lost ten consecutive games and only picked up a point three times. The two meetings between these teams so far this season have been close: first Dornbirn won 2:1 after a shootout, then Klagenfurt won 4:3 after overtime. The "Bulldogs" have conceded the most goals of all teams so far this season with 3,79. They have recently suffered four clear defeats at home in a row. The Klagenfurt team, which recently scored four times in a row in the ICE, have to do without twelve players due to injury or illness - just like in the second leg in the Champions Hockey League, which was lost 1:8 in Leksands. Niklas Würschl is also suspended. Instead, 18-year-old Tobias Sablattnig will make his debut.
Fr, 26.11.2021, 7.30 pm: EC GRAND Immo VSV – spusu Vienna Capitals
Referees: BULOVEC, STERNAT, Hribar, Zgonc. | >> LIVE auf Puls24 <<
For the first time this season, EC GRAND Immo VSV and the spusu Vienna Capitals will meet with the game broadcasted LIVE on PULS24 starting at 7:10 pm. The Villach team has been strong at home this season: from the eight home games so far, the "Adler" have only failed to take any points once, winning five of them. On home ice, VSV is the league's top scoring team, averaging 4,63 goals. The spusu Vienna Capitals, on the other hand, are struggling to score goals on the road, as they have scored 19 times in their ten road games so far this season, and did not score for four times. Nevertheless, the Caps have climbed the table, winning nine of their last eleven games, and are in sixth place, partly because their special teams are in the top three. Rob Daum will still have to do without convalescents Maximilian Rebernig, Yannick Pilloni and Nico Brunner (upper body injury) against the Vienna Capitals. Alexander Rauchenwald will also be missing from the line-up this weekend.
