Duo from league rivals signs in Linz | Comebacks in Jesenice

The Steel Wings Linz were able to bring a duo of league rivals to Upper Austria. There were also numerous contract extensions with other teams. The EC-KAC Future Team starts the new season with a new head coach. SIJ Acroni Jesenice managed to sign two comebackers.

Duo from league rivals signs in Linz
Lukas Necesany from the Red Bull Hockey Juniors and Mikael Saha from S.G. Cortina Hafro will play for the Steel Wings LINZ AG in the upcoming season. Necesany is a 20-year-old defender, Saha a 28-year-old forward who scored 50 points (24 goals and 26 assists) in the past season.

Fassa extends with Rossi, Forte and Ploner
Forward Sebastiano Rossi stays with his boyhood club Fassa Falcons. The 22-year-old scored 16 points in 116 Alps Hockey games so far.

21-year-old Michele Forte will play his third campaign with the Fassa Falcons. The defender played 73 games (18 points) for the Italians so far.

Andrea Ploner stays with his youth club Fassa Falcons. The 22-year-old has already played 128 Alps Hockey games for the Italians.

Second season for Trivellato in Merano
25-year-old David Trivellato stays with HC Meran/o. For the forward it will be the 2nd season with the South Tyroleans. Last campaign he scored seven points in 34 appearances.

Young forward Tschofen stays with Bregenzerwald
21-year-old Marlon Tschofen will enter his 3rd season with the EC Bregenzerwald. The forward scored 31 points in 65 Alps Hockey games so far.

Cimzar and Us returns to Jesenice
HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice announced the signing of 31-year-old Tadej Cimzar. The Center last played with HK SŽ Olimpija in the win2day ICE Hockey League, scoring 39 points in 79 games. Between 2015 and 2019 Cimzar already played for the current AHL champion.

HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice announced the signing of Zan Us. The 27-year-old netminder, who already spent three seasons in Jesenice, comes from win2day ICE Hockey League side HK SŽ Olimpija. Us has played 143 Alps Hockey games so far, having a .921 save percentage.

Pitschieler two more years in Gherdeina
Center Simon Pitschieler extended his contract with the Hockey Club Gherdëina - Gardena for 2 more years. The 25-year-old played 146 Alps Hockey games for the South Tyroleans so far, scoring 74 points.

New Coach for KAC Future Team
Harri Laurila becomes head coach of the EC KAC Future Team. In the past season, the 58-year-old Finn, who himself played as a defender in Klagenfurt 25 years ago, worked for Hafro Cortina Hockey as head coach of the U19 team and from December also as assistant coach of the Alps Hockey side.
