"This opportunity came out of the blue, I was not really prepared for this decision, but I am glad that the management supported me and indicated that they will entrust me with this task in the future, I thank them for their trust and I appreciate it. I said yes without hesitation, despite the fact that the situation is difficult due to the short time available, the pre-season and the squad were put together after consulting the former head coach, but the most important thing now is to continue the work we have started so far", said Dávid Kiss, who will be the youngest head coach in the club's history as well as the first Hungarian head coach in the win2day ICE Hockey League.

In recent years, Kiss has already been active at Fehérvár as assistant coach (2020-2023), head coach of the second team (2018-2020) and youth coach (2012-2018). The 33-year-old ended his playing career back in 2012 with his hometown club Székesfehérvár. In the then EBEL, Kiss stood on the ice a total of three times. The 2011 Hungarian champion also played for Salzburg as a junior.
„In 2012, I knew I wanted to stay in hockey, to give back to my club what I had received from them, and then as a young coach, my goal was to train young players according to the values we accept today. Throughout my coaching career so far, I have been close in age to my players, but we have always managed to work out a way to respect each other. As a coach, I am motivated and driven every day by making my players feel that everything we do is helping them in their journey, whether it is sporting or civic related", Kiss added.

Predan moves from Salzburg to Ljubljana
After seven seasons in Salzburg, first in the academy, then with the Juniors in the Alps Hockey League and the pros in the win2day ICE Hockey League, Aljaz Predan is moving to the HK SZ Olimpija, marking the 23-year-old's return to his native Slovenia. For the Red Bulls, Predan recorded 16 points in 91 ICE games and 75 points in 126 Alps Hockey League games. The left-shooter also won the win2day ICE Hockey League title twice with Salzburg.

"I decided to continue my career in Ljubljana because this team has a lot of potential. Even though we are a younger and inexperienced team on paper, I am convinced that we can get good results. They work a lot with young players and give us the opportunity to prove ourselves and for me it's a new start. I want to help the team as much as possible. I know the guys and I know that the spirit in the team will be good," said Aljaz Predan.
