EC-KAC Future Team announces roster core

Returning Alps Hockey League club EC-KAC Future Team has announced its roster core for the upcoming season. The squad currently consists of two goaltenders, 11 defensemen and 16 forwards. In addition, seven other Alps Hockey League clubs have announced signings and contract extensions over the past few days.

EC-KAC Future Team
Returning league member EC-KAC Future Team has unveiled its roster core for the upcoming season. The goaltending tandem is headlined by Patrick Müller, who returns to his hometown club after an outstanding season in the United States. The 20-year-old excelled with the South Shore Kings, helping the team capture both the NCDC regular-season and playoff titles. On the way to the championship, the Klagenfurt native won all 13 of his playoff starts and was ultimately named the league's Playoff MVP. Slovenian netminder Leonard Bulc completes the goaltending duo.

The defensive unit currently features 11 players. Filip Simovic, Gerrit Böhs, Lennart Leitner, Gabriel Holzer, Maximilian Petritsch, Sebastian Klanfer, Sam Schwendinger and Domen Dolžan all remain with the club, while Tit Smolnikar, Jaka Rakovič and Luca Kempf join the team as newcomers.

The roster also includes 16 forwards. Julian Neumann, Ben Öfner, Tristan Schall, Luc van Ee, Marcel Vodnjov, Niclas Micelli, Quentin Wallner, Lukas Dreier, Toni Fartek, Johannes Kügler, Manuel Wadel, Aljaž Gregorič, Andrej Hebar and Linus Schrott all remain with the club. They are joined by Stefan Klassek, who returns to his hometown team from Innsbruck as well as Martin Bizjak, who arrives from Jesenice.

Rittner Buam SkyAlps have extended the contract of 23-year-old defenseman Hannes Uffelmann, who has spent his entire career with his hometown club. He has appeared in 105 Alps Hockey League games to date. Meanwhile, Kevin Fink is leaving the club for the first time in his career to join Kaltern. Over nine Alps Hockey League seasons, the 27-year-old recorded 138 points in 325 games.

Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan
Key player Bryson Cianfrone will continue to suit up for Sterzing. The 31-year-old center is set to enter his fifth season with the South Tyrolean club. In 185 Alps Hockey League games, the Canadian has recorded an impressive 194 points.

HC Migross Asiago
Asiago has extended the contracts of three players. Seventeen-year-old forwards Andrea Rigoni and Lorenzo Ferretti, who both made their Alps Hockey League debuts last season, will remain with the team. Canadian defenseman Robert Calisti has also signed a new deal and is set to enter his second season with the club.

S.G. Cortina Hafro
Center Giovanni Toffoli will remain with his hometown club Cortina and is preparing for his ninth Alps Hockey League season. The 25-year-old has appeared in 311 league games, collecting 24 points.

Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel
Forty-one-year-old forward Alexander Höller is returning to the Alps Hockey League after signing with Kitzbühel. He spent the past 11 seasons playing in Germany's second- and third-tier leagues, having previously played several years in Innsbruck and Vienna. He is set to make his Alps Hockey League debut in September.

Defending champion Val Gardena has extended the contracts of three young forwards. Diego Greci Demetz (18), Nicolas Andriolo (19) and Igor Bogdanov (20) all made their Alps Hockey League debuts during last season's championship campaign.

HC Meran/o Pircher
Twenty-year-old forward Matthias Pardatscher has joined reigning runner-up Meran. It will be his first stint in the Alps Hockey League after previously playing exclusively for Eppan.
