24-year-old Swedish defender Anton Johansson will strengthen EHC Lustenau's defense for the upcoming season. Johansson last season played at Swedish club IF Troja-Ljungby in Division 1, the third-highest division in Sweden. For him Lustenau is the first station outside Sweden. With good performances he wants to recommend himself for further tasks in Central Europe.

Johansson is considered as a two-way defender, with his strengths to be found primarily in the consistent defensive work. Due to good relations to Scandinavia it was possible for Lustenau to engage him. With a height of 188 cm and 86 kg he brings the best physical conditions for a strong defender.
