HCB Südtirol Alperia announced the contract extension with Enrico Miglioranzi. The defenceman will thus enter his fifth season in the Foxes' jersey, his third in a row. After suffering a knee injury in the playoffs, his goal is to be fully available again for head coach Glen Hanlon's team at the start of the new win2day ICE Hockey League campaign.

Miglioranzi played in the youth of Asiago and made his debut in the first team at the age of just 16. He moved to Bolzano in 2013 and promptly won the league title with the Foxes. The following season, the defender returned to Asiago, where he spent many more years (apart from 12 games with Kallinge in the Swedish third division). With the Red & Yellows, where he served as both captain and assistant, he won seven championships, three Italian Super Cups and twice the Alps Hockey League. Another transfer to Bolzano followed in 2022, and the 32-year-old has been a very reliable defenceman ever since. He always finished the season with a positive +/- value and scored a total of 21 points. In the last playoffs, Miglioranzi, who has also been a member of the Italian national team squad for years, suffered a serious knee injury, which forced him to end the season prematurely.

Enrico Miglioranzi: "It certainly wasn't easy having to watch most of the playoffs from the stands, but what happened is now a thing of the past. I'm happy to be able to look to the future and continue wearing the white and red jersey. I'm working hard to get back to full fitness as quickly as possible and my rehabilitation is going well. We'll start next season with the same goal as always, which is to get to the end: this group has gained a lot of experience over the last two years, we have a high-quality squad and we know how big our potential is."
