In the last preseason game of a bet-at-home ICE Hockey League team, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 played at HC Nové Zámky. Last week, head coach Kevin Constantine's team won 2:0 at home against the Slovaks, and the Hungarians took the lead again on Tuesday: Five minutes before the end of the first period, Alex Petan scored after Atkinson's pass. Shortly after the start of the middle period, Terbócs even increased the lead to 2:0. Although the home side managed to pull one back in the 30th minute, Horváth restored the two-goal-advantage shortly before the end of the period. This scenario was repeated in the third period. After the Slovaks halved the deficit again, Kuralt made the final score 2:4. Thus Fehervar won all five preseason games. On Friday, the Hungarians will face EC GRAND Immo VSV at home in their league opener.
