Fehervar AV19 took revenge and won the second game against the Cardiff Devils 4:2. The Dornbirn Bulldogs had to take a setback against HC Thurgau losing 1:7.

Fehervar wins in Cardiff
Fehervar AV19 played back to back against the Cardiff Devils. After losing 2:5 on Saturday, Fehervar took successfully revenge and celebrated a 4:2 win. Right from the beginning the Hungarians came better into the game. Both teams had chances in the opening period without scoring. In the second period the hosts took the lead. But defender Dániel Szabó had the right answer and tied the game in powerplay. Also the next powerplay was successful. Anze Kuralt took the lead with a solo. The third period started with a couple of penalties. First Joey Hadded scored the equalizer. But Fehervar had a strong finish. Aaron Reisz recaptured the lead and Mikko Lehtonen brought the 4:2 decision with an empty-netter.

Bulldogs lose first preseason game
After an exhausting first week of practice the Dornbirn Bulldogs lost against the HC Thurgau 1:7. The new team of Jussi Tupamäki started with a lot of energy. Despite having more chances, the Swiss Team opened the scoring with a double strike. Bau Hansen narrowed the gap in the 17th minute in powerplay. In the second period Thurgau acted much more efficiently. Two more goals brought the 4:1 lead before the final period. The Bulldogs seemed to be tired and received three more goals. Thurgau celebrated a 7:1 win in their second preseason game.
