The 360th Carinthian Derby offered top-class entertainment right from the start – with high pace, physical battles, and plenty of goals. The guests could not capitalize on their strong start, and in the eighth minute Nick Hutchison opened the scoring for Villach. Hughes doubled the lead before the first intermission. In the second period, Hutchison struck again to make it 3-0, but Murray and Mursak brought KAC back within one. From tied the game at 3-3 early in the third, only for Helewka to restore Villach’s lead 48 seconds later. Lindner sealed the 5-3 win with the fourth power-play goal of the evening. With this victory, the Blue and Whites climbed back into the Top 6.

In front of nearly 5,100 fans, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 claimed a clear win in the first all-Hungarian league derby in ICE history. The hosts set the tone early: Cheek scored on the power play, followed by a goal from Joel Messner off a Richards assist. In the middle frame, three quick goals within a few minutes all but decided the game. Budapest cut the deficit late in the period through Shaw, but Fehérvár still cruised to a convincing 5-1 home win.

Linz also had reason to celebrate, beating table-toppers HC Falkensteiner Pustertal 2-1 in overtime. After a goalless first period, Brian Lebler put the Upper Austrians ahead in the 29th minute. Lipon equalized in the third, before Lebler netted the game-winner in overtime with a precise wrist shot set up by Barron. Goalie Rasmus Tirronen impressed with a strong performance, while Linz failed to capitalize on several power-play chances.

The Moser Medical Graz99ers extended their winning streak to three games and moved up to third place. At home, the Styrians defeated EC Red Bull Salzburg 4-1. After a scoreless first period with opportunities on both sides, Graz took control in the second: Josh Currie scored twice, and Paul Huber added a third goal shortly after. Goaltender Maxime Lagacé preserved the lead with key saves, and the 99ers held firm in the final frame. Salzburg pulled one back through Michael Raffl with an extra attacker, but Manuel Ganahl sealed the win with an empty-netter in the 58th minute. For the reigning champions, it was the fourth straight loss.

Olimpija Ljubljana returned to winning ways with a 4-1 home victory over HCB Südtirol Alperia. Gersich put the visitors ahead in the second period, but Bericic equalized shorthanded. Brennan (power play), Meyer (57th minute), and Simsic (empty net) then turned the game in Ljubljana’s favor. Goaltender Luka Kolin shone with a .097 save percentage. For the Bolzano Foxes, it marked a third consecutive defeat.
