Fehérvár brings back János Hári and István Bartalis

Hydro Fehérvár AV19 presented two returnees as newcomers at a press conference on Thursday. János Hári and István Bartalis each signed long-term contracts. In addition, the contracts with Donat Szita, Daniel Szabo and Bence Szabo were extended. The other ten clubs of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League have agreed in Wednesday's league video conference to a request from the Hungarians that Fehérvár, despite existing transfer stops, can communicate commitments made before.

János Hári and István Bartalis have each signed long-term contracts with Hydro Fehérvár AV19. Hári, who played 109 games for the Hungarian side between 2017 and 2019 and scored 118 points, signed a contract for the next five seasons. The Hungarian national team player started past season with Lahden Pelicans in the Finnish Liiga (2G | 11A), before he was loan to EC Red Bull Salzburg. The striker scored 16 points for the "Bulls" in 18 games.

István Bartali's new contract with Hydro Fehérvár AV19 covers the next three seasons. The 29-year-old has already played two seasons with the Hungarians between 2014 and 2016, scoring 43 points in 69 games. He then spent three years with the Schwenninger Wild Wings in the DEL. The past season he played for HC Vita Hästen in the Allsvenskan. In 47 games in the second highest Swedish league he scored 21 goals and dished 20 assists.

The Hungarians also renewed the expired contracts with Donat Szita, Daniel Szabo and Bence Szabo.
