Until 2015, Gleason Fournier always played in North America. First in his home country Canada, then in the USA. From 2011 to 2015, the 29-years-old was also consistently active in either the American Hockey League or the ECHL. After that, the defender went to Europe and signed with the Cardiff Devils. With the Welsh team, the left-shooter was twice crowned champion in the EIHL. At the beginning of the past season, Fournier finally moved to the HCB Südtirol Alperia. He made 62 appearances for the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League runners-up. Now the Canadian is moving to league rival Hydro Fehérvár AV19, where the 2013 Calder Cup champion signed a one-year contract.
