Fehérvár strengthens defence with Cameron Gaunce

Hydro Fehérvár AV19 announced the signing of Cameron Gaunce. The defenceman, who has already played for four NHL teams, is coming to Europe for the first time. In recent years, the 34-year-old has been active in the American Hockey League.

Cameron Gaunce was drafted in the second round by Colorado in 2008, he began his professional career in the NHL in the 2010/2011 season. In the following years, the defenceman switched back and forth between the NHL and the AHL and won the Calder Cup with the Texas Stars in the 2013/2014 season. Last campaign, the 34-year-old played for the AHL team Toronto Marlies.
