Hydro Fehérvár AV19 won with 1:0 at the HCB Südtirol Alperia in the top clash and took the lead in the standings. Istvan Bartalis scored the goal of the day in numerical disadvantage. AVS goalkeeper Jaroslav Janus shone and saved all 44 shots on his goal. For Bolzano it was the first home defeat after regular time in 22 games. The last time the South Tyroleans did not score a point at home was almost a year ago, on 10.01.2020.

HCB Südtirol Alperia lost in the top clash against Hydro Fehérvár AV19 with 1:0 despite playing superiority. The hosts were the leading team from the beginning. In the first period, they recorded twice as many shots on goal as Fehérvár. Also in the middle period, the hosts set the tone, but contrary to the course of the game, they conceded the only goal. On their own powerplay, Bolzano caught a counterattack, which Istvan Bartalis converted. It was already the tenth goal of the season for the Hungarian international. The home side then tried everything, but failed to equalize.

The man of the match was AVS goalkeeper Jaroslav Janus, who saved all 44 shots on his goal. For the 31-year-old it was the third shutout of the season.
