FBI VEU Feldkirch – EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel 4:3 OT (0:2, 1:0, 2:1, 1:0)
Despite having a lead twice, Kitzbühel could not end their losing streak on the road. In their seventh away game the Tirolese at least gained their second point. The visitors go off a great start with Henrik Eriksson and Olegs Sislannikovs scoring a brace in the 6th minute. The hosts fired lots of shots goalwards but KEC netminder Jose Kangaskorte kept a clean sheet in the opening period. After 25 minutes Feldkirch was rewarded for their pressure when Martin Mairitsch made the breakthrough. The guests kept their narrow lead until the end of the second, though. With a shorthanded marker, Steven Birnstill tied the game at two after 48 minutes. With five minutes to go Sislannikovs retook the lead for Kitzbühel but they could not kill the clock as Marcel Witting forced overtime. The extra session was a mere 38 seconds old when Mairitsch made the decision with his second of the nigt. Feldkirch climbed to fourth place with their fourth successive win.

HC Pustertal Wolves – Rittner Buam 2:1 (2:0, 0:1, 0:0)
Many news there were for the South Tyrol derby. The hosts celebrated the return of the forward Nathe Di Casmirro while on the bench there was a new Finnish coach Petri Mattila. Also news for Renon. The defender Bretton Stamler and the forward Kyle Jean were at their debut. The start of the Val Pusteria was more concrete with the goal after two minutes of Danny Elliscasis. The defender ended a long action of the yellow black near the slot of Rittner Buam with a lucky shot. Ritten tried to make his game more dangerous in counterattack but Val Pusteria in the middle achieved the 2th goal of the evening during a powerplay action. Andreas Lutz shooted from the blue line: the puck was deflected by Max Oberrauch in the net. During the second period, Ritten shortened the distance with Andreas Lutz's goal thanks to a lucky rebound of the puck near the boarding. Then the Val Pusteria wasn’t concrete when it came to put the puck in the net. The actions of Sean Ringrose (pole) and Patrick Bona didn’t succeed as the teams went to second break with the advantage of Val Pusteria (2:1). In the last period it was reported one chance for both team with Simon Kostner (Ritten) and Sean Ringorose but the result didn’t change. In the last minutes the game the home team was perfect to remove the puck from his defence. Ritten's thrust vanished as they could not even take a goalkeeper away for extra attacker. This was the third victory in a row for the Wolves. This was the first defeat of Rittner Buam after 9 wins in a row.
