Not only 24 hours after playing their last game, both teams hit the ice again. While Jesenice took three points from Milano on Saturday, Feldkirch suffered a 0:3 home defeat against leader Pustertal. Sunday's encounter was a special game for VEU coach  Nik Zupančič  who has been player and coach for Jesenice in the past. The visitors looked tired early in the game at Vorarlberghalle und after five minutes Dylan Stanley took the lead for Feldkirch. Soon later Robin Soudek doubled the lead with Gregor Pilgram earning his first assist for his new club. The hosts took the 2:0 lead into the first intermission but after restart the visitors became stronger. Jesenice just failed to score because of VEU goalie Alex Caffi. It took the Slovenians 45 minutes until Gasper Glavic broke the spell and now it was all Jesenice. Despite outshooting their opponents 16:3 in the third, the guests were not able to tie the game anymore, though.

Goals VEU: Stanley (5./Soudek-Jennes), Soudek (8./Pilgram-Stanley)
Goal JES: Glavic (46./Jyrkkiö-Kalan)
